What is a Visioning Day?
A Visioning Day is a special and important event for our chapter community. We are excited to have Susan Komis facilitate this day of Visioning and planning for the future of our Central Florida contemplative community.
The “Visioning” day provides an opportunity for all Centering Prayer practitioners in our community to gather together to celebrate our history, assess our needs as a contemplative community, and “envision” future growth and direction for Contemplative Outreach of Central Florida (COCFL).
All participants will have an opportunity to offer input through small group and large group discussion, and be a part of future planning as we envision our future as a contemplative community.
Nestor de Armas has served as COCFL Coordinator for the past three years and we will be gathering for prayer and guidance of the Spirit in selecting a new coordinator for the next three years. Susan will guide us through this process of discernment for COCFL leadership.
Who should come?
All practitioners of Centering Prayer in Central Florida are encouraged to participate in loving service. This is a great opportunity to gather with people from all over our chapter and pray together as we plan for our future. There will be 2 periods of centering prayer during the day.
