Registration Now Open for February 13 Centering Prayer Workshop
Join us Saturday, February 13, for All Saints’ first Centering Prayer workshop and a day of reflection, learning, and rest in God. For millennia, Christians have taken the opportunity of Lent to explore new ways to develop a deeper relationship with God, and Centering Prayer is a powerful aid in the spiritual journey.
This free workshop will also serve as the perfect primer for Fr. Rob Lord’s Lenten Rector’s Forum, “Divine Therapy: Centering Prayer and the 12 Steps,” which begins Sunday, February 14.
The Centering Prayer workshop takes place from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the Mary Martha Parlor. During four sessions, you will learn about 1) prayer as relationship 2) the method of Centering Prayer 3) the sacred word as presented and used in Centering Prayer, and 4) extending the prayer into daily life.
Presenters include Liz Lefevre, Adal Henriquez, and Nestor de Armas from Contemplative Outreach of Central Florida. For more information contact Nestor de Armas.
