Day of Praying, Listening and Eating

Saturday, October 5, 2024 9:00am-3:30pm

The format for our Chapter Planning and Prayerful Discernment day has changed. We will not have the “Visioning Day” but will have a much needed Day of Prayer for all our chapter members. It has been a long time since we have been together, and we miss you! We miss the togetherness. We miss being with you. Please come and pray with us.

Carol Quest, has been talking with us for some time and she would still like to come as a friend of the chapter, if you like, to help us get back together, not to have visioning/volunteering or electing at this time. She is a sweet soul from CO Minnesota and wants to be there to celebrate, pray, and update us on CO national, especially the revamped Centering Prayer Introductory Workshop.

Time and place will be the same (October 5, 9am-3:30pm, St. Barnabas, DeLand).

Who should come?
All practitioners of Centering Prayer in Central Florida are encouraged to come. This is a great opportunity to gather with people from all over our chapter and pray together and get reacquainted.

Carol Quest has been active in the Contemplative Outreach community for over 30 years. She currently volunteers as a member of the Contemplative Outreach Board and the Chapter Support Service Team as well as volunteering in her local chapter, Minnesota Contemplative Outreach.
