Live Oak, Florida 32060
Father William Meninger, Trappist monk, prolific author, master retreat leader, and one of three at the principal architects of the Centering Prayer movement, returns to the Tallahassee area in March 2017. Father Meninger leaves Saint Benedict’s Monastery in Snowmass Colorado only four times a year for special teaching engagements. He will be presenting workshops in Tampa, Flagler Beach, and Phoenix as well.
Spend the weekend on retreat with Fr. Meninger as he describes this year’s retreat, “Further Along The Way With The Great Mystics.”
“Day on today tells the story and night unto night makes known the message.” Learn what great mystics have to say to the church today. 14th century men and women, 16th century saints and mystics speak the message taken up by 20th century teachers of wisdom. From Meister Eckhart to Thomas Merton, to Catherine of Siena to Dorothy Day, God’s love is lived, taught and handed on to us today.
